$60.95
The Florida First Time Driver Package includes the 4-hour Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) Course, or Drug & Alcohol course, and the official online permit exam.
The 4-hour TLSAE Course is required by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for all first-time driver’s license applicants under Florida Statute 322.095. This course must be completed before taking the Florida Permit Exam and applying for a learner’s permit in the state of Florida. This course is also required for licensed drivers under 21 years of age who have received a notice of suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol.
After you complete the 4-hour TLSAE, you will take the Official Florida DMV Permit Test Online. Upon successful completion of the official exam, you will be eligible to receive your Florida Restricted or Permit Driver’s License at your local DMV office. The test is approved by the Florida Department Highway Safety Motor Vehicles (DHSMV).
The American Safety Institute (ASI) is a 3rd party provider that offers the permit test online. Please note: If you are not under the age of 18, you must take this test at the DMV.
